New Leader Mentor Institute

Overview

There's not much to this coaching thing, right? All you have to do is figure out how to help someone plan, prepare for, and execute massive changes in their professional or personal life... no big deal!

The truth is, coaching isn't a piece of cake. You know this, and we know this. Coaching takes skill - lots of it. And like anything else, it takes practice - lots of it.

Too often new coaches are "crowned" and sent out into the wild (sometimes referred to as "the field") with minimal training or guidance.

And while they may be extremely accomplished in their area of expertise, this does not necessarily mean that they are prepared with the necessary skills to be an effective and powerful mentor or coach to others.

LIT's New Leader Mentor Institute addresses this gap. We know that you know what needs to be done - what you need is a practical, hands-on, interactive experience to help you develop the skills so that you know how to do it. In this training session you'll work in small and large groups, observe mock coaching sessions, and even have multiple opportunities to practice coaching in real time with feedback and guidance.
